Family Christmas with the Showers Family

November 27, 2004:

Always gotta start with the puppies. Bailey, as always, is quite amused by cameras!

Chewie...not very happy that I took this pic...he was so upset, he had to hide under the bed.

So, Category 6 was that interesting of a movie. At least Dave was comfortable and Willie was enjoying Lara's cherry cobbler...excellent stuff.

It was such a good movie, even Lara had to chuckle. The smile that won the web...or at least got her on it...

Ahhh...to Thanksgiving. Dinner was excellent. Grandpa thought you were doing an excellent job preparing.

Look...even Lela was full. No nap this year though!!!

The line begins. No, not for food, at least not yet. Had to send a fond hello to dad...wish webcams added weight too. God bless you dad, and Merry Christmas. See you in the spring.

Now the dinner line starts. Yes, Lisa, the food looks great, despite the questionable look on Jaeger's face.

The lunch table gathering. What a feast. Even the pie made by Uncle Doc made the A list, see all the smiles?

Let the presents start. Grandma and Grandpa get the first picks, or first pick-up sticks as it appears. Hey, Raven thinks she can challenge Grandma to a match....

Hours and hours of fun...I think maybe one day, she might get it.

Cymbal banging chickens are pretty cool too!!! They don't only make kids smile anymore...or maybe they do...hey, we are all kids at heart.

Of course, I hear it works the same way with Santa if you pull his finger. The question of the season....how long will it last around Mandy?

I think Uncle Allan wanted the cymbal banging chicken too...its a good thing no rabbits were hidden in that bag.

No, its not tug-o-war. I think Grandma would win. But she was awefully gratefull for Raven bringing her a present.

Steve was about to jump out of his chair in excitement. What's in the bag? Is it A) Ball on string game B) Cymbal banging chicken, or C) A rabbit...

Wow, Becky was her own present. At least she wasn't as camera shy this year.

Hanging out with cousins is fun too. Don't worry Sara, I wasn't going to leave you stranded in a photo by yoursel...like I did Becky....

I don't know about this trio...that could've been trouble. Behind that mask, Dale is quite the schemer.

Here is a real tug-o-war match-up. You can almost feel the sibling love across the room.

And the sun sets on another wonderful family christmas.....Happy holidays to all
