Synopsis
Cumulus mediocris with virga (1) along with altocumulus undulatus translucidus perlucidus (2) in the northern sky.  These clouds developed in the warm sector of a cyclone with a warm front to the north in Wisconsin and northern Illinois and ahead of an approaching cold front in western Iowa, and Kansas extending southward.
